Nathaniel Hargan
MNE, joined Fall 2021
Nathaniel is a junior at VCU and is working toward a Mechanical Engineering major. He is interested in computer-aided design and 3D printing. Nathan joined the lab as VIP team member and transitioned to DURI Fellow in 2022.
Ireolu Orenuga
CLSE, joined Fall 2021
Ireolu is a third year chemical engineering student with a concentration in life sciences on the pre-med track and a minor in chemistry. She aspires to be admitted into an MD-PhD program to become a practicing doctor while simultaneously conducting research. Ireolu joined the lab as VIP team member and transitioned to DURI Fellow in 2022.
Feranmi Akande
BME, joined Fall 2021
Oluwaferanmi "Feranmi " Akande is a Sophomore Biomedical Engineering major at VCU on the pre-med and tissue engineering track. She is interested in attending medical school in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Cardiologist. In her spare time, she enjoys making art including abstract canvas wall paintings and human anatomical sculptures. Feranmi joined the lab as VIP team member and transitioned to DURI Fellow in 2022.
